TENSION As Hostel Caretaker Spears A Chuka University Comrade To The Verge Of Death

The students of Chuka University have threatened to cause mayhem around the Chuka vicinity following an incident that almost led to the death of one comrade:  Ayub Opayi.

According to news reaching our desks, Ayub Opayi was STABBED by a traditional arrow after an misunderstanding with his hostel's care-taker on Saturday, 18th February 2017 at around 8:00p.m.

The hostel's name is said to be Westmoria on your way to Marine Park Resort near Tharaka Mkt.

The Chuka University Student's Association through their secretary general - Bwana Lutta Wilberforce have vowed to use the same amount of force the care-taker used to injure their fellow comrade.

Lutta claimed that they had given the hostel's landlord an ultimatum of 72 hours for the following conditions to be met:

1. The comrade MUST be compensated for torture and pain inflicted by the landlord.
2. All the hospital bill MUST be catered for by the landlord
3. The caretaker MUST be arrested for justice to prevail.

The CUSA spokesman has added that failure to meet the above conditions within the given duration, the Student's body will wreak havoc on the hostel's owner.

This has resulted in mixed reactions within the campus as some hot tempered comrades have promised to give the hostel a 'pre-visit' prior to the scheduled 72 hours.

We are still not sure what was the altercation between the student and the care-taker but as soon as we receive the full info, we shall gladly post it.

The 72 hour ultimatum has been decided on since a section of the CUSA leaders are not within the school premises as they are still on training.
