If you are reading this and you are a Hassan Odoyo sycophant then it's already too late.

Hassan Odoyo Wellingtone
Hassan Odoyo | Former CUSA chair hopeful

HASSAN WELLINGTONE ODOYO is no longer a competitor for the Chuka University Student's Association chairman docket.

Yeah, I know it's shocking but an actual truth.

Chuka Uni Gossip team decided to do a research on why Hassan Odoyo our most favourite CUSA chair aspirant was kicked out of the contest during the nomination period.

Here are the main 5 reasons why Hassan was eliminated by the Chuka University Administration;

1. Threats & Intimidation: First we already know that Hassan Odoyo's dreams of leading the university to paradise were compromised by the School Admin. In a Facebook post he published on 10th January 2016, he says " I am not contesting and I have been forced to drop." He was asked to pick one of a.) CUSA chair b) Degree I'm pretty sure he went for the latter.

2. He is a LUO. Hassan's surname betrays him and that is why he normally uses the name "Hassan Wellingtone" on Facebook.  Jaluos have had a terrible history with the University management and they [admin] probably blame the guys from the lake for what happened early last year. In 2016, about 45 Luo students were kicked out of the university for 'causing' the riots.

3. Past conduct: Hassan is rumoured to have had an altercation with the Chuka University administration after the strike that led to closure of the institution in February 2016. He was among those given a stern warning against inciting students to riot. Rumours claim that Admin had already planned to eliminate him from participating in the CUSA chair contest months ago (we have the audio)

4. Students' unrest: Towards the end of 2016, some Chuka University students had started chanting the 'taboo' song in the CUC Live Facebook group. You all know the song: "No Hassan, No Voting" and the admin who usually monitor what goes on on social media decided to summon Wellingtone. He however denied having any connection whatsoever with the social media unrest.

5. Personal reasons: These could be weird reasons such as lack of campaigning money, poor grades, lost interest in the race, fear of risking his degree for a small post and also he could have decided that CUSA chair salary of Sh.5,500 was not worth contending for.
