Popular Chuka University Socialite; Shiey Involved In Fight With 'Street Chokoraa'
Ever since we started this blogging idea in Chuka University, bloggers have been popping up and about like mushrooms in the institution and attempting to make it in these tough internet streets. This brings us to the recent social media rant between a self-proclaimed upcoming blogger who also claims to be a 'chokoraa' and Chuka University's own socialite; Shiey Kiarie.
According to a report we received from one of our premier sources, the self proclaimed blogger who can only be identified as Feloh did an article bashing Chuka University's socialites. The article seemed abusive according to Shiey who then decided to contact Feloh via email asking him why had done an abusive blog post.
The self proclaimed blogger tried to explain that the post was not aimed at any individual but more insults were hurled at him. Shiey is known to have hosted several amazing events that saw Kenyan celebrities show up at Chuka and the most recent event was the AllBlackAffair. The February Kimwa event that was show-stopped by the one and only rapper King Kaka.
The self proclaimed blogger also claims to be a 'chokoraa', a street kid who is bewildered by the fact that Shiey's lifestyle is no different from his. He claims that if a Chuka University student should earn the title 'Socialite' then he should not find her buying vegetables at the local Ndagani market. Feloh stresses that someone who lives in a bedsitter should strive for something else other than being a petty socialite.
It's quite rough and unfair for both the blogger and the socialite but the fight is still on. Yester-night, Shiey posted a photo of herself and made it clear that the post was not meant for street children masquerading as bloggers. Feloh on the other side, thinks that Shiey is really desperate for his blog attention and he assured her that the only way he could feature her on his blog is if she paid for advertisement.
We can't tell who's right or wrong, but as Chuka Uni Blog, we shall ignore such games and continue with our main purpose of posting news and trending stuff within the campus. Au revoir!
