CUSA Says There Will Be A STRIKE On Friday, 10th February!! Here's Why
Seems like lecturers are not ready to go back to class any time soon and students of Chuka University have already used up almost all their pocket money on alcohol and partying.
Other campuses in the country have already suspended their semesters but Chuka University's Vice Chancellor - Bwana Erastus Njoka doesn't think it's a good idea to discontinue the session.
The incumbent Chuka University Students' Body has, however, given lecturers up to Thursday to begin teaching or face the wrath of students on Friday.
Speaking to the comrades through Facebook, current CUSA Secretary General Lutta Wilberforce revealed that the VC will be meeting the lecturers on Tuesday and Thursday to discuss whether they should end the semester.
He added that if by Friday this week class in-attendance persists, then he will call for mass action.

Lecturers strike is illegal as per the court. The consultation by the varsity administration and the lecturers resulted that all lecturers should be in class by Monday.
The VC will meet all the lecturers again on Tuesday and Thursday on the same. At the same time all class representatives should foward the units not being taught to the Director academics upto Wednesday.
We are hoping that the uniformity as far as the academic matters are concerned will be reached within this week. On Friday if the status quo persists, we will now take a next step. Let peace be paramount and unity overrule.
