Since her inception to Chuka University, NJERI GERTRUDE, the class representative to Bachelors in Catering and Hotel Management third year class exhibited undeniable leadership skills. She has been serving as the Vice Chairperson to Peace Club, Secretary to Red Cross, Organizing Secretary to the Hoteliers Culinary association aka Catering Club. She is a pioneer member to Patriots' movement, Rotary club, Stretch-A-hand initiative and French club.

The many that have had the privilege to interact with her can attest to this. She is a fun-loving lady of fair build and gusto. Her charismatic personality and beautiful smile have rendered many subscribers to "Team Mafisi" helpless, though of course given her esteem in society and being a role model to many ladies, she has had to respectfully keep her distance from the like.
4.Diplomatic co-ordination
One of the roles of an Organizing Secretary is being the Public Relations ambassador of CUSA to other organs internal and external. She is of calm and friendly approach, which has made her convince the many personalities we had mentioned above to visit Chuka unlike in previous years where the only celebs we heard of were Kenrazy and Nameless. Our reliable sources claim her counsel is even sorted by her colleagues and course-mates who have entrusted her with that jurisdiction.
5. Down-to-earth personality
Njeri (which has now become a big brand in Chuka because of being chanted so often by her day-dreaming competitors) is a humble lady who engages everybody that seeks her audience without discrimination. Unlike many goofs in the current CUSA political intrigues who rely solely on their home community and tribesmen, this lady has sold her name greatly by discussing her progress agenda with friends of development and open-minded comrades whose key interest is to see Chuka and Kenya as a whole as united as can be. She is highly being sought by politician from her home county Nyandarua but has declined with the slogan #TribeKenya. We hear she even intends to fund her campaign solely from her savings and support from family and friends.

Any veteran in the political arena knows this tactic only too well. In her current regime, she has discredited uninformed haters who keep dragging her name in the mud along those of corrupt intentions and who rely only on propaganda to disclaim her worthy capability thinking this will give their candidate a mileage, how green they are in matters politics! They should ask NJERI who even incorporated her former competitor Diana Nyaga in organizing Freshers extravaganza despite their different political school of thoughts.

NJERI (this two-syllable name just sounds sweet to the ear and hand while voting) on being interviewed by our undercover correspondents about how the recent ELANI show went down and what she had to say about it diligently said that it was a big move in the Chuka entertainment sector and has put our institution on the map. When asked if she was in any way involved in organizing the show, she honestly said no and was willing to learn a few tips from Arts House production and Sapphire band. This is the true definition of a leader, an ORGANIZING SECRETARY!
