Chuka University Students Could Miss HELB Loan This Semester
Chuka University students have expressed their feelings towards the HELB loan issue through a popular Facebook group- CUC Live. Apparently, HELB claimed that all the subsequent applicants would have their cash by August 30th.
However, students of the Tharaka-nithi county based institution have revealed that they haven't received the loans in their accounts. Could this have any relationship with the fact that Chuka Uni was not mentioned among the other varsities tagged by HELB while announcing that they had already disbursed the loan?
Below is what Higher Education Loans Board's social media page posted;
We wish to notify the 2016/17 subsequent undergraduate applicants that the disbursement of HELB Loan to individual bank accounts has been done today. The funds should therefore reflect in the individual bank accounts by Tuesday 30th August 2016.
They went ahead to tag Kenyan institutions but leaving out Chuka University. Check out the universities mentioned by the loans board;
