Chuka University Ranked Last In Sports
A poll conducted by research company CPS International with sponsorship of Pan African Education Trust, has ranked Chuka University as the last ISO Certified Kenyan university in sports, among 55 institutions of higher learning sampled. The institution has in the past also been ranked at the bottom in different categories such as web rankings.
Chuka University managed to be ranked at number 41 out of 55 institutions in the country and was awarded 6 points while top Kenyan university - Kenyatta University garnered a sum total of 223 ranking points ahead of University of Nairobi which had 215 and United States International University (USIU) which picked 191.
Chuka's neighboring universities also managed to beat us as South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) was placed at number 34, Meru Science & Technology was ranked at number 39 with 39 points in sports. Karatina came at 34 just like SEKU with 44 points.
We however, beat Embu University.

While other universities are building sports infrastructure, the Chuka University management is adding the number of gates, and walls in fear of terror attacks and to maximize prevention of future strikes and chaos.
The institution lacks a basketball court, the games department is inactive, no sports equipment, the idea that one must carry a school ID to the pavilion so as to participate in games sucks!!
