A video of how the strike that left property worth millions destroyed at Chuka University on Monday, February 8 is now on Youtube. The university has been closed down indefinitely following the unrest and rioting by the students. One of the university’s buses was dramatically set ablaze by the comrades during the strike.
Protesting comrades blocked parts of the Meru-Nairobi highway for several moments before the anti-riot police unit arrived and dispersed the rioting students. According to confirmed reports, about 18 students faced arrest for looting shops and stands around the surrounding Ndagani market.The video below shows how the strike began, watch it;
