Chuka University 1st Year Student Found Dead At Waterfall [Full Story + Graphic Images]

On Monday, 28th November 2016 - A first year student at Chuka University in Tharaka Nithi county died after drowning at a local waterfall. The student who can only be identified as Martin Mwangi a.k.a Marto, is said to have been studying Entrepreneurship studies.

According to news sources that Chuka Uni Gossip team can't independently approve as credible, Martin Mwangi (photographed above) had decided to head to the waterfall for recreation after completing a continuous assessment test (C.A.T) where he met his untimely death.

A section of the Chuka University Facebook critics have blamed the death of Marto on the School Administration claiming that their comrade would still be alive if the Students' centre was operational. They added that the admin does not even care about the welfare of the students but just the fee.

Below are some of the reactions from comrades in Chuka University after news arrived that we had lost another student this year;

After the tragic incident at the waterfall, comrades quickly alerted the area police officers who then picked up Martin Mwangi's body from the scene of the accident and rushed him to the General hospital for a postmortem.

A few days ago, another Chuka University student was involved in a gory road accident at Chuka town where he died on the spot according to a Facebook post.
