Chuka University Students Angered By VC Njoka's Fee Clearance Remarks

Apparently you can't enter the school premises without a gate pass! Gate pass is a small ID sized paper with personal details such as registration number, national identity card number, names and dean's stamp. You only get this piece of paper only after clearing the semester's fee.

Students of Chuka University have claimed that VC Erastus Njoka's move to force all the students to pay clear their fee balance within the first one week of September.

Some of the students have blamed the Chuka University Students' Union (CUSA) for blindly enforcing orders from the school administration.

Moha Bin Moha, the Director of Chuka University Students' welfare, in a recent Facebook post, claimed that the Students' Union together with the School administration had reached an agreement that fees be cleared within the next two weeks.

According to Professor Erastus Njoka, those unable to clear the fee balance should bring their parents to the institution. To me, that is the most dumbest idea that I have ever seen on this planet! Check out Moha's controversial Facebook post;

As CUSA leaders, some Of us Had a meeting with the VC who argued that for better management Of the university, the students will only be allowed to access university premises after they have fully paid there fees. For those who are unable to pay and they have very genuine cases/issues to come with their parents/guardian for them to be adressed

My advise is, the school administration should re-think this action or risk seeing another bus up in flames or worse still, the recently completed Students' center brought down by a volley of flying stones. A strike could erupt from forcing students to pay all the fees within the first few days of reporting.

Kevin Mutiga: Hello comrades... we should all stand in our accord and object dicatatorial directive that we should clear fees before we are allowed within university premises.If the above directive will be implemented then the following should happen

1.Disban CUSA and demand for resignation of all CUSA leaders

2.Go for a very peaceful demonstration without destroying any university property or property belonging to community

3.Demand for sacking of University VC because of his arrogance and failure to involve students in important decision. He runs university like his family or personal property

we can't allow this to happen. Most students are from poor family and will defer. Arrogant and stubborn Njoka can't believe this

Scandrous Minaj: What tha hell is"we are trying to talk to the vc"?CUSA leaders you are cowards lacking leadership skills. Infact you are of no use to your fellow comrades who waisted their time in the voting line, just to get you there, where you only show your 32 when ever the vc addresses you, goats are better !... we even went home for months and for what ?even the months had a fee that we paid for... Confront the Senate as leaders who can stand for the minor n the poor, dnt enjoy the sitting allowance and the good mockery dishes offered to you in a senate meeting, be our voice... for we are sitting on a time bomb

this is the most idiotic "what the fuck statement"to ever featured in a higher learning institution.seriously??
some of us are already parents for christ sake so who accompanies who?..alaf uskie your parents must prove their parenthood so that they are allowed into the premises ama they also come with their parents as proof..
