Big Blow As SONU Chairman Babu Owino Insults Chuka University

Students of Chuka University have expressed their grief on social media after popular Student Organization of Nairobi University (SONU) chairman Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino reportedly referred Chuka Campus as a mere village institution. This, the Sonu chair, said it through a Facebook post.

The screenshot of the message that has been widely circulated in Facebook and Whatsapp groups has left students of Chuka University leaving heart wrecking comments concerning Babu Owino's "Village University" remarks.

Some students concluded that maybe Babu owino is being consumed by his pride of becoming re-elected as the Sonu chairman for the third time in a row. Others, however, assumed that Babu owino is being childish and doesn't know how to deal with criticism.

In the same post by Babu Owino, Kenyatta and Moi universities were also labelled as village institutions. In the Facebook post he says;

"I am the SONU chairman whether some people like it or not, If you don't accept that fact then you can go to another village university like K.U, Moi or Chuka. This is UoN, students must come back and sit for exams. Anybody planning to riot next week will be beaten up thoroughly. I have already talked to the GSU and they will come in large numbers starting tomorrow."

Now for those who have started resenting on the University of Nairobi student leader, kindly calm down and put your stones back on the ground I have some good news for you. According to our premier sources, the account that posted that message on the "Real Comrades Forum" Facebook Group is a parody 'fake' account and not the real Babu owino.
